Photography seems to be a hobby that everyone, at some point in their life, attempts.

Capturing an image, literally, freezes time. Without getting too deep, it is almost as if the photographer has the power to freeze time.

When the photographer stands outside of the photograph, he/she enters into a unique object/subject relationship. What makes photography so appealing, however, is that it is often difficult to know who is the object and who is the subject.

Initially we may think that we are the subject, studying and admiring an object/a frozen image. Photography, however, plays on the notion of “paradox” where the roles are reversed and the image becomes the subject, effortlessly changing its voice and message every time we look at it.

I intend to update this section of the site in more detail and will hopefully be able to add some commentary on each photograph.
