breathe heavily, breathe carefully

A significant part of my day is spent in oxygen debt. From anywhere between an hour, two hours and sometimes three hours, I breathe heavily. Though I don’t run and train in high places, I often feel like the air I breathe is thin. Often, I feel like the air is too thin and that I am going to pass out as a result of it.

This desire to breathe heavily, however, is a choice. I believe that it is a gift that I don’t want to take it lightly.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to be alive and I feel blessed that I am able to breathe heavily.

I realize, however, that I won’t be able to breathe forever. A day will come when I will cease to breathe… that day will come for all of us.

But, for now, I am alive. And so long as I am alive I will take-in daily, heavy doses of oxygen.

Breathe heavily, breathe carefully.

Seeing that I am now 57 years old, i want to make sure that i too ‘breathe heavily, and breathe carefully’ as my ‘breathes are numbered’.
